Open大家一定都會叫做『開』

但是你知道在英文裡此開非比開嗎?

舉例：

Open the door開門(這個大家都沒問題，真的有把門打開沒錯)

Turn on the TV 開電視(只是按電源鍵而已你沒有要拆解他喔!)

switch on the light 開燈(是真的有個開關可以按下去的)

有開就有關順便補充

Close the door

Turn off the TV

Switch off the light

當你要請人家坐下的時候要小心說sit down是沒有禮貌的，即使加了please也一樣，這是屬於上對下的講法 (只要動詞開頭都屬於命令句)

Take a seat.／Have a seat.（informal)

Please be seated. (Formal)

另外補充相關片語

Sit tight, to stay where you are

坐好(有時候也有等待的意思)

Be sitting pretty, to be in a good situation, usually because you have a lot of money

She is a black horse. 她是隻黑馬
She just blacks out for no reason. 她突然就暈過去了
This is worth a fortune on the black market.這在黑市很值錢呢
